Polity
How a free people maps itself before it reforms itself.
Civic work fails when ideal outruns map: form ignored, capacity assumed, burdens multiplied because each alone appears kind.
The public chamber asks for x-ray vision without contempt: see the frame beneath the robe, then decide what can bear weight.
Keep the walk civic-scale:
- Map — formal structure, informal power, actual capacity
- Ideal — ordered liberty, equal dignity, faithful care
- Gap — where incentives punish the good
- Path — the smallest reform that changes a real constraint
